Last month, our intrepid team vowed to each read one of the books shortlisted for the 2015 Man Booker Prize in the thought that one of them might just hit the winner, which was announced the week after our recording. With us so far?
Well, none of the smallVOICE team did actually read the winner which was A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James. Anne read Satin Island by Tom McCarthy; Darren read The Fishermen by Chigozie Obioma; and Margaret read The Year of the Runaways by Sunjeev Sahota. A diverse and eclectic mix.
Find out what they thought of them all in November’s podcast from around 5 minutes 21 in.
