small voice of the month – Gillian McNab

Gillian McNab is a nurse by day, and a thrill seeker in her off duty time, with really big projects in mind. However, what matters most to her is how much she can raise for the charity which has helped her and her family to face Huntington’s Disease, following her mother’s diagnosis several years ago.

Find out about Gillian’s story and exploits as she talks to smallVOICE roving reporter Margaret – listen at 41’43 minutes in to September’s podcast.

Gillian has done a firewalk, skydive and wingwalk – what could be next? We’ll pass your ideas on to Gillian, or you can try some fundraising yourself – find out more about The Scottish Huntington’s Association, and how to get involved with fundraising, on their website.

AND, since the podcast was recorded, we have just heard that Gillian has been shortlisted for a National Unsung Heroes award!
