smallVOICE podcast – November 2020

Welcome to the smallVOICE podcast for November – we don’t take you for granted you know. It may feel like Winter Is Coming but here’s another hour of warm, podcasty goodness with musings on matters moral, ethical and spiritual: think hot chocolate for the soul. This month we review a new collection of contemporary poetry for our Media Review, while Anne chats to broadcaster, writer and former Bishop of Edinburgh Richard Holloway in our regular feature A Thousand Words. Our roving reporter Margaret brings us another Small Voice of the Month – this month she highlights the ‘Sisters for Sisters’ project in Nepal. We’re also thrilled – oh yes! – to bring you a couple of songs from Kris Drever’s latest album. And, as if that’s not enough, and we finish up with our Moral Mixdown and bravely have a look at the U.S. election.

Presented by our regular team of Darren, Anne, Holly and Margaret.
Recorded remotely via Zoom on Thursday 12 November. Duration: 1hr20

Theme music by Nicolai Heidlas
