A Thousand Words – Martin Johnstone
Martin Johnstone is a Church of Scotland minister who describes himself on twitter as ‘hopeful about faith, passionate about overcoming poverty, and concerned about communities’. Until very recently, Martin was Secretary of the Church of Scotland’s influential Church and Society Council. He also facilitates a network of Poverty Truth Commissions across the UK, and chairs an Independent Working Group set up by the Scottish Government to identify the issues that push people into food poverty, and to come up with ideas to tackle the problem.
