A Thousand Words – Rebekah Sharp

Rebekah Sharp came in to the smallVOICE studios to talk to Anne about her picture that is ‘worth a thousand words’ and this photograph of a book cover is what she chose to talk about. Rebekah is, at just 23, one the youngest Hospital Chaplains in the whole of the National Health Service in Britain. But her experience of the NHS is not just professional – it’s also personal. When Rebekah was a just a teenager, her mother died, and subsequently her father became disabled. So what image would someone like Rebekah choose to talk about?

Listen at around 21’40 minutes in to the podcast.
