Media Review – Autumn

For our media review this month we’re reviewing Ali Smith’s novel Autumn which has been short-listed for this year’s Man Booker Prize. It’s been described as the first post-Brexit novel and was written by Ali Smith over the summer of 2016, as the first of an intended quartet – one book per season. The novel tells the story of the love and friendship between Elisabeth, a young woman, and Daniel, an old man who seems to be in a coma at the start of the book.

Find out what the smallVOICE team makes of it at 4’20 minutes in to our October podcast.
