Media Review – Days Without End
For our Media Review this month the smallVOICE team has been reading the novel Days Without End by Sebastian Barry, which won the award for the Costa Book of the Year 2016. Sebastian is a highly regarded Irish novelist, poet and playwright. Days Without End is set in mid-19th century USA and follows the fortunes of two friends and lovers, Thomas McNulty and John Cole, as they fight in both the Indian Wars and the US Civil War before attempting to settle down and form a family with an adopted Indian girl.
