Media Review – His Bloody Project

His Bloody Project by Graeme Macrae Burnet is the subject of November’s media review – nominated for this year’s Man Booker Prize no less. The book is subtitled “Documents relating to the case of Roderick Macrae”, and the book purports to be a collection of writings related to a supposedly true crime – a brutal triple murder carried out by Roderick, or Roddy Macrae in a remote crofting community in North-West Scotland in the nineteenth century.
