Media Review – Home
For our media review this month we’re reviewing the BAFTA-winning short film, Home, which was directed and written by Daniel Mulloy. Home addresses the current refugee crisis and aims to remind the viewer that refugees are just like us – fathers and mothers, sons and daughters – for whom the meaning of the word ‘home’ has undergone a traumatic re-evaluation. As thousands of men, women and children attempt to get into Europe, this twenty minute film follows a comfortable English family who experience a life-changing journey of their own.
