Media Review: The Good Lie
Our Media Review for May is The Good Lie, a film by Philippe Falardeau and which stars Reese Witherspoon (starring in the sense of being the Hollywood person that Got It Made).
Described thus by the Guardian newspaper: “Child refugees go from war-torn Sudan to culture clash in America in this powerful and affecting tale”, you can read Mark Kermode’s review from The Observer here.
The film was released last year in the States and our smallVOICE team caught it (just) on its British release as it wasn’t in cinemas for long. It is expected to be out on DVD in August 2015 – we will remind you!
Anyway, find out what our team made of it in our May podcast at around 4’40 minutes in.
