Music Guest – HEISK
This month, we celebrate the long-awaited release of the debut album from Scottish band HEISK. The album is also called HEISK and the band is made up of six talented young folk musicians: Becca Skeoch, Catriona Hawksworth, Lauren Macdonald, Rosie Munro and Sally Simpson. Their music is described as “funky folk” (The Sound Cafe) and them as “funky female folksters” (At the Barrier) both of which we like a lot. Well, we can’t improve on that … just have a listen!
