Music Guest – Margaret McLarty

A very warm welcome back to Margaret McLarty!

Margaret is a Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who last came in to play live here at smallVOICE Towers at the beginning of 2017. Since then, she has released her debut album Brigid’s Birds, a collection of songs that drew inspiration from a landscape of people and places from Glasgow to the island of Iona to a Zambian church and back again. We think full marks to the person who called it “a tiny feathery masterpiece” – spot on.

Margaret sings the lovely, lovely title track to her album, Brigid’s Birds at around 15’47 minutes in to April’s podcast; and follows that up with Ship on the West Coast at 42’20.
