Music Guests: Alec Shuttleworth & Robin Hill

We add Alec Shuttleworth & Robin Hill to our very distinguished list of church ministers who are really rather good musicians.

They came into our studios to record for the November podcast and performed two songs for the smallVOICE team – a comedy ballad (to which many involved with church life will relate) [at around 17 minutes in to the podcast] and a lovely arrangement of the hymn ‘I Heard The Voice of Jesus Say’ [at 46 mins 25].

With a dulcimer. We like the dulcimer.

Alec & Robin are ridiculously self-effacing and claim that they only ever step in when other musicians have dropped out of an event, but we know for a fact that they have delighted audiences far & wide, and performed late-night cabaret for the Church of Scotland too.
