Music Guests – The Ian Walker Band

How lovely to have the talented and lovely Ian Walker, Jimmy Scott and Moe Walker in our smallVOICE studios to record for our October podcast. Ian is a successful and popular singer and songwriter from Glasgow. His last solo CD was nominated for the British Country Music Awards in 2011. He is joined by Jimmy Scott from Bo’ness who sings and plays his own brand of country gospel music and who has supported George Hamilton IV on two recent UK tours, and Moe Walker from Northern Ireland, an acclaimed singer on the music scene for many years who has appeared on STV with Alastair McDonald and the Alexander Brothers.

The band chats to Darren and sing old gospel  favourite ‘Higher Ground’ at around 13’12 minutes in to the podcast. Their second song is written by Ian and is called ‘At the Turning of the Day’  and you can listen to that at around 35’15 minutes.
