Podcast Extra – interview with Selina Hales of Refuweegee
Refuweegee featured in our January podcast as our ‘small voice of the month’ – small, local organisation that is making a big difference to people.
The Refuweegee initiative gives refugees arriving to live in Glasgow a welcome pack donated by members of the public. The pack contains a selection of essential items like toiletries, ‘local’ items (Irn-Bru and Tunnock’s Teacakes have featured heavily!) and notes of welcome – “Letters Fae the Locals”.
Our smallVOICE presenter Margaret caught up with the founder of Refuweegee, Selina Hales, for this Podcast Extra interview and she talks about the amazing range of their work.
