small voice of the month – Lost Stock

The links between fashions chains and the garment factories which produce the goods, were exposed by the pandemic which shut down high street stores in Europe and elsewhere leaving millions of spring and summer fashion items unwanted and unsold. For Cally Russell, founder and CEO of personalised shopping app Mallzee, a solution became clear – he set up Lost Stock, inviting customers to buy a bagful of fashion goods for under £40, thereby saving the stock from landfill and enabling the manufacturers to pay their workers.

Lost Stock is our small month of the month for October. Listen to Margaret’s interview with Cally Russell at 40’34 in to the podcast.

Margaret sent away for Lost Stock clothing and this is what she got!
