smallVOICE podcast – July 2014
It’s July and we present a selection from our podcasts over the last 12 months. Yes, it’s summer holiday time and this is the clips show! But, what’s this, faithful listener? Darren has recorded some fresh linking material to hold it all together and a brand-new Moral Mixdown lurks at the heart (well, end) of the podcast. So it’s the same, but a little bit different as well.
The Media Review is Channel 4’s Benefits Street as fully-dissected in January’s podcast |In May we were most delighted to have Steve Butler as our music guest and here he is singing ‘Clear’ | Our A Thousand Words strand has served up some fascinating interviews and here we revisit Anne’s interview with Holly McGuigan from our very first podcast in August last year | Darren pitched for Tony Campolo’s book, A Reasonable Faith, for its place in Shelf Life in April | Our second musical offering is the rather wonderful Ciarán McGlynn and Katy Meehan who came into the studios in November 2013 | And finally, a newly-recorded Moral Mixdown tackles the controversial issue of faith schools.
Have a great summer, one and all. We’ll be back in August with a brand new podcast.
