smallVOICE podcast – October 2019

Welcome to October’s smallVOICE podcast! This month we have fabulous music from our live smallVOICE session at the Wild Olive Tree Cafe in August with Scots singer Iona Fyfe; our small voice of the month is an inspiring dance project; and our Moral Mixdown asks some hard questions about the complexity of God and money.

Bravely stepping in to the dark months is the smallVOICE presenting team of Darren, Anne and Holly. Margaret is our intrepid roving reporter.

Enjoyed that very much, thank you. Lots to think about. Made me wonder what might have been the reaction had the Cadbury or Lever Brothers enterprises failed back in the day when they really did have power over whole communities.

Sounds like you had a nice little crowd there along with suitable cafe clinking! Just heard & enjoyed the film review, insightful and I can confirm the Guardian review was similarly ‘meh’. I’m off to see a couple of Leeds film festival flicks tonight, Closing Time & Adam, from Taiwan and Morocco. They probably won’t make the multiplexes.
ps your recording date here says 4 October, which briefly confused me, I think that’s last month’s 🙂
