Thank you once again for a great podcast – thoughtful and thought-provoking with lots of interconnections.

I think Anne elided two wonderful hymns under the ‘All are Welcome’ (Marty Haugen) title… the line she cited was from ‘For everyone born a place at the table’ (Shirley Erena Murray). Both are challenging and beautiful in equal measure.

A particularly thoughtful moral mixdown on a very complex topic, thank you.

‘Pull up a panda’ – that’s not one I’ve heard before. And then I re-notice the panda pics and realise there’s a backstory there I’ve missed out on…

Just listened to the Doctor Who section, having watched most of the first episode finally on iplayer last night! (I remember thinking when P Capaldi first appeared at the end of the last series, he looks quite dino-like himself never mind the T-Rex – more a comment on his features than just his age.
Anne’s comment on the movement from brash confidence in youth to much greater uncertainty as you get older is interesting… I can certainly see that, but I’ve experienced a different & in a way opposite journey too- of growth in faith and confidence as I’ve gotten older. I guess it’s about building on the right kind of foundation- the deeper truths of faith rather than the shallower ones of simplistic black & white ‘false’ certainties. The tree by the river in psalm 1 is a good image of this
