Welcome to this smallVOICE podcast for January, presented by Darren & Holly. During the next half an hour or so, they’ll bring you up to date about how our wee team is doing and our plans for the podcast over the next months. They also share their recommendations of what they have been reading, watching and listening to. (And, in one case, a non-recommendation.)

But our main review this month is My Old School, the documentary film directed by Jono McLeod. This stars actor Alan Cumming, lip-synching to words from an interview with the main protagonist.  The documentary uses animation as well as interviews, and tells the very strange story of Brandon Lee, a man in his thirties who posed as a 16-year old to enrol at his old school.
