sv podcast – standup, murder & music
It’s October, and in this podcast, Holly & Darren review the smash-hit true crime podcast, Wisecrack. Amazingly, it’s a true crime podcast that’s been topping the podcast COMEDY charts. (Spoiler: murder is not at all funny.) It’s an intriguing format which raises lots of interesting questions: Can people own their own stories? Does meaning get through in the gaps between what is said and what is not? Is there a cost to telling certain types of story?
Wisecrack is a production of Tenderfoot TV and iHeart podcasts in Association with Starwhite Productions. The podcast is hosted by Jodi Tovay and written by Charles Forbes.
We’re also delighted to play a bit of music! Steve Butler has remastered his 2004 album, Clear, and we think it’s a cracker. For this podcast we feature his song, Barriers, with many thanks to Steve for permission to play it. Have a listen, it’s great!
