Music Guests – Iona Fyfe and Aidan Moodie

It’s January and we’re in a nostalgic mood, looking back at a fantastic ‘smallVOICE session’ from August 2019 that featured Iona Fyfe and Aidan Moodie. It both seems like yesterday and also a long, long time ago!

It was such a good evening and it’s great to bring you a couple of tunes from our recording, starting with ‘Swing and Turn Jubilee’ at around 11 minutes into January’s podcast. Then we have the old Shaker hymn ‘Lay Me Low’ at around 27’13 minutes. Enjoy!

We were DELIGHTED to see that Iona became the first singer to win Musician of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards in December 2021.
