A Thousand Words for September 11 – Kelvin Holdsworth

Kelvin Holdsworth is Provost of St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow and he came in to our studios earlier this year to talk to Anne about his picture that was ‘worth a thousand words’.

ChristandAbbaMenasBut Kelvin mentioned on that visit that there was another image that meant a lot to him – one that would forever remind him of September 11th, 2001, the day that terrorists aboard three hijacked passenger planes carried out coordinated suicide attacks in the USA. As the 15th anniversary of those events approaches, we invited Kelvin back into the studio to tell us about that image that for him is forever associated with that day.

Listen at 19’48 minutes in to our September podcast.
